Joey "Jaws" Chestnut devoured 63 hot dogs and buns to win the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July hot dog eating competition on Monday for the fifteenth time.

Miki Sudo, the current women's record holder, consumed 40 wieners and buns to win the competition after missing the previous year's frank fest due to pregnancy.

On Monday, the competition returned to its customary spot outside Nathan's flagship store in Brooklyn's Coney Island district.

"It's beautiful to be back here" in front of a throng of spectators, Chestnut told ESPN after his feat, which the 38-year-old managed while wearing a surgical boot because of a leg injury.

Prior to taking the previous year off while pregnant, Sudo, a woman from Tampa, Florida, set the women's record of 48 1/2 weiners and buns in 2020.

On July 8, 2021, Sudo gave birth to their son Max with Nick Wehry, a fellow competitive eater they had met through the Nathan's competition in 2018.

"I want to set an example," she said, "to do things that you love and push yourself to your absolute limits and, when things get difficult, to still give it a try. And, you know, you might actually just come out victorious."

The competition also say people like Webb take part in it, however nobody could come close to the beast eater.

Esper came distant second with 43 buns, however he couldn't come even close to Joey who ended up gobbling uo 63 buns.

The event also saw people like Patrick Bertoletti, who once ate 252 slices of Armour Pepperoni with cheese in 6 minutes.

So when the clock stopped Joey Jaws Chestnut was way ahead of the competition with 63 buns, while esper was a distant second with 43 buns.

Miki Sudo topped the chart with 40 buns, while Lesco came distant second with 25 buns.

Crowd enjoyed their time as they watched the heavy eaters hogging the hot dogs.
