Mumbai, Feb 12 (IANS) Singer Aditya Narayan has received flak after a video of him hitting a fan and throwing their phone amid a concert went viral on social media.

Aditya, son of veteran singer Udit Narayan, was performing at a concert in a college in Chhattisgarh during the weekend.

In a clip, which has now gone viral on social media platforms, the singer is seen crooning ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from ‘Don’ starring Shah Rukh Khan. He is then seen losing his cool over a fan after the singer noticed him record while he was performing.

The next thing in the video shows Aditya hitting the fan with his mic and then taking his phone and throwing it into the crowd. The video also showed that the concert goers were in shock.

However, there is no clarity about what made Aditya so angry over the fan.

This is not the first time Aditya lost his cool. In 2017, he was seen in a heated fight with airport staff at the Raipur airport.

Vidisha Srivastava's monsoon makeup routine: 'Mattifying primer, BB cream, waterproof eyeliner'

Published

By

Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) Actress Vidisha Srivastava shared her tried-and-true monsoon makeup tips, revealing that she prefers using a mattifying primer to control excess skin oil, waterproof products, and light and non-greasy formula during the rainy season.

The monsoon season brings a refreshing change and unique challenges for maintaining flawless skin and makeup.

Vidisha, who essays the role of Anita Bhabi in the sitcom ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ advises: “During monsoon season, it’s important to adjust your regular makeup routine. The humidity and rain can cause your makeup to smudge, melt, and wear off quickly. Changing your makeup routine to adapt to the season will help your makeup last longer and keep your skin looking fresh and healthy.”

“I prefer using a good primer, waterproof products, and light and non-greasy formula. I opt for a mattifying primer to control excess skin oil. Heavy foundations can feel cakey and melt off in the humidity, so I choose lightweight, water-based foundation or BB cream that provides coverage without feeling heavy,” shared Vidisha.

She added: “Investing in waterproof makeup products, especially mascara and eyeliner, is crucial to prevent smudging and keep my eye makeup intact, even in a sudden downpour. For my lips, I prefer matte lipsticks that stay put longer and give a chic finish, less likely to bleed in the rain.”

“A makeup setting spray is essential to lock everything in place, ensuring my makeup stays fresh and lasts throughout the day regardless of the weather,” concluded Vidisha.

‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ airs on &TV.

On the work front, Vidisha made her film debut in 2007 with SP Entertainments’s Telugu film ‘Maa Iddari Madhya’. She also starred in other Telugu projects like ‘Alaa’, ‘Prem’, ‘Athili Sattibabu LKG’.

She has featured in Kannada movie ‘Nali Naliyutha’, Tamil drama ‘Kathavarayan’, and Malayalam film ‘Lucky Jokers’.

Vidisha has also been a part of TV shows like ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, ‘Meri Gudiya’, ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran’, ‘Durga-Mata Ki Chhaya’, and ‘Kashibai Bajirao Ballal’.

He feels it is quite normal for people to follow trends each season.

Anuj shared: “For those who love clothes and experimenting, it’s always an opportunity to change with the season. Actors and influencers are expected to keep trying new things, which also brings in a personal touch.”

He loves to experiment and enjoys when he is playing a character whose fashion sense is completely opposite to his.

He added: “In one of my web series, I played a very different character with a style rooted in the 80s, featuring boot cuts, bell bottoms, and silk printed shirts—things I wouldn’t normally wear due to the loud colour combinations. However, these elements made a huge difference in the character and contributed significantly to the characterisation. I am willing to go to any lengths to make my character look the way it should.”

And he doesn’t mind promoting such characters in their costumes on public forums or at events.

“If it’s important for the marketing and promotion of the films, and I have to don the costume according to my character, I don’t mind it. However, I enjoy wearing trendy clothes because it brings out my true self. It’s not necessary to be in character all the time. If I am attending a public or private gathering, I prefer wearing something different to break the monotony and let me be myself,” he said.

Mumbai, July 11 (IANS) Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, who was recently seen in the sports biopic ‘Chandu Champion’, has shared that his most profound break-up happened during his college days.

He said that the girl whom he was dating during his college told him that she wouldn’t be able to handle the life of an actor.

Kartik recently appeared on Season 2 of the podcast ‘Be A Man, Yaar’ hosted by Nikhil Taneja. He said on the podcast by Yuvaa, “My first heartbreak was in school. I couldn’t muster the courage to express my feelings; I simply smiled at her.”

Sharing the incident from his college life, he said, “My girlfriend told me she couldn’t be with me if I pursued acting. She said she couldn’t handle the life of an actor.”

The actor also recalled how he felt after facing rejections in his movie auditions, as he said, “It was very harsh. It’s like you don’t exist. Lagta tha ki aapki koi value hai nahi.”

The fear of being identified as “unfit” led him to be frustrated with the entire process of auditions. However, reflecting on the change that he has seen over the years, he said, “My loneliness has been compensated by my fans.”

He also spoke about getting “bitter” during his early days in the film industry because of how tough it is for outsiders to get noticed.

He said, “Main line mein laga hoon aur dusro ko line mein lagne ki zaroorat bhi nahi padh rahi (while I stand in the queue, others don’t even need to be a part of the line). Wahan chai pi rahe hain jahan main auditions de raha hoon. There was never an even playing field. Aur wo toh aaj bhi rehta hai (things are the same even today).”

Kartik also gave his point of view on the conversations around the misogyny of his monologues during ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, and said if the script is good, he will do a ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3’ today as well.
